Vin Deisel to play as Hannibal Barca

As if I wasn't already disgusted by the prospect of him directing this...now he's starring...damn.

Well, I remember him saying in a quoted interview that he wanted to get the story across as accurately and as "big budget" a look as he could get. While he may have the acting talent of Keanu Reeves, there is a flicker of hope.....

My big fear is that he will step out from behind the camera and play Hannibal. He does not look like him, nor display the appropriate gravitas for the role.
