Scope rebuild
I've been in astronomy for over 15 years now, and I'm in the process of rebuilding a scope I purchased about two years ago. I'm about two weeks out from being finished, with nearly all the hardware attached tonight (not in the pic). All the finish sanding and painting is next weekend.
Here a shot of the original setup, as it was about a month ago.

That's pretty cool. How much did all that cost?

Re: Scope rebuild
Can't really put a price on it, but if you take into account all the gear typically hooked up on it when I'm observing, plus the scope itself, a couple thousand. I've been in this hobby for 15 years, so it's a gradual sort of thing. This is probably one of the last rebuilds I'm going to do for a very long time. I'm going to a starparty later this month, and I'll post pics.
